FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities: 

This position reports to the Executive Vice President of Programming and will assist in the acquisition of television shows and the creation of programming schedules for 29 broadcast television stations, in markets covering nearly 40 percent of the country. This role has responsibilities that touch all facets of the FOX Television Stations’ daily business, which entails fostering close working relationships with individuals in the legal, finance, public relations, and engineering departments, as well as members from each of the broadcast stations individually. This role will be expected to pull accurate Nielsen ratings for various newscasts and broadcast/syndicated programming and provide detailed analysis of the data to senior executive staff members. This position will also attend pitch meetings with program distributors and be expected to offer insight/opinions, as well as build relationships with all program distributors. Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate.

Requirements: 

Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5-years of experience in the television industry. Practical experience analyzing and pulling Nielsen ratings, particularly with WRAP A Plus, is essential to the role. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft platforms such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and a familiarity with Salesforce. Applicant also must be a voracious consumer of media content, across multiple platforms.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $80,000.00-95,985.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
