JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is looking for a Freelance FAST Channel Editor to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The FAST Channel Editor will support FOX Sport’s expanding video distribution business. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of FS1 programming with meaningful experience in video editing, encoding, and delivery workflows as well as some experience in content strategy. This role is an exciting opportunity to support a growing business in a dynamic media landscape and entertain FOX Sports fans across the world.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the daily content strategy and programming operations of the FOX Sports FAST Channel and ensure all content, metadata tags, ad breaks, etc. are actively represented on a 24/7 live linear stream
  • Edit and upload daily content using cloud-based software 
  • Work with Product & Engineering teams to create optimal workflows related to the FAST channel
     

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Editing experience on Adobe Premiere (Google IAS, WildMoka experience is a plus)
  • Intermediate experience in digital media workflows (content creation, metadata, content programming)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Ability to learn new technical workflows
  • Vast knowledge of FS1 programming, talent and storylines
  • Elite communication and organization skills
  • Available to work 40 hours per week, holidays, and weekends as needed

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $28.00-31.00 per hour. We provide Freelancers medical/dental/vision insurance and 401k after they meet eligibility criteria and any State required time-off, in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
