OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
Fox Corporation
Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Fox News Media is looking for a Product Manager II to own the digital product experience for new and unidentified users across FOX News Media digital properties. This Product Manager II is responsible for converting anonymous visitors into known users, maximizing acquisition, driving account creation, and establishing the early engagement patterns that turn first-time visitors into loyal, returning readers and viewers.
You will own the product experience from the moment a user arrives through the point at which we can identify their consumption behavior. That includes acquisition touchpoints, onboarding surfaces, and the product layer around account creation and authentication. Success in this role requires analytical rigor, a strong grasp of user behavior, and the ability to operate independently on a lean team managing multiple workstreams.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own the end-to-end product strategy for the new user experience from first visit through the identification event where a user's consumption behavior becomes known
- Build and maintain a roadmap for acquisition and onboarding surfaces, prioritizing based on audience impact, conversion data, and strategic value
- Identify and own acquisition touchpoints that product can influence, including app store listings, install flows, and pre-authentication experiences across web, mobile, and connected TVs
- Define what a differentiated FNM onboarding experience looks like and build toward it, including leveraging our CRM platform to deliver feature-driven onboarding campaigns
- Partner with Core Experiences on authentication infrastructure while owning the product experience around all account creation and login touchpoints
User Acquisition & Conversion
- Optimize the full acquisition funnel for unidentified users, maximizing CTR, session depth, and conversion to known user status
- Define and track conversion metrics from anonymous visit through account creation, using data to identify friction points and prioritize improvements
- Partner with CRM and marketing teams to ensure product surfaces support campaign goals, contributing product perspective on what features and capabilities can be leveraged to drive acquisition
- Design and execute A/B tests to validate acquisition and onboarding hypotheses
Cross-Functional Execution
- Serve as the primary product point of contact for engineering, design, data, and marketing teams on all new user workstreams
- Write clear PRDs and user stories that give engineering teams what they need to build confidently
- Own sprint ceremonies at the pod level, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews
- Drive prioritization and keep delivery on track without dedicated delivery support
- Coordinate with the Registered Users pod to ensure a seamless handoff once a user's consumption behavior is established
Data & Measurement
- Define success metrics for new user product initiatives, including acquisition rates, onboarding completion, account creation conversion, and early engagement depth
- Partner with data and analytics teams to ensure visibility into funnel performance and user behavior
- Use data to exercise sound judgment on prioritization and to communicate product impact clearly to stakeholders
AI-Powered Ways of Working
- Actively uses AI agents as a core part of daily product workflows, not as an occasional tool but as a practiced, default approach to getting work done
- Applies AI to research, synthesis, and analysis, including competitive research, user behavior pattern recognition, and data summarization
- Leverages AI for PRD drafting, user story creation, and sprint preparation
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Required
- 2-5+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of consumer-facing acquisition, onboarding, or growth surfaces
- Strong analytical instincts; you are able to work with data independently to answer product questions, identify patterns, and make prioritization decisions with limited direction
- Experience running A/B tests and interpreting results to drive product decisions
- Solid understanding of web and mobile product fundamentals; you are comfortable discussing technical tradeoffs with engineering partners
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication; you can write PRDs, present roadmaps to stakeholders, and manage expectations across teams
- Ability to operate independently on a lean team, managing multiple workstreams without close supervision
- Active, practiced use of AI agents across research, synthesis, PRD drafting, stakeholder communications, and sprint preparation, with a demonstrated habit of building and iterating on agent-assisted workflows
- Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
- Experience at a digital media, news, or consumer content platform
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Braze or similar) from a product strategy perspective
- Background in app store optimization, install flow design, or mobile acquisition surfaces
- Track record improving acquisition or onboarding funnel metrics in a consumer product context
