JOB DESCRIPTION

Gutfeld!, the #1 late-night show on television, is seeking a proactive and highly organized Associate Producer/Booker to join our fast-paced team.

In this role, you will research, pitch, and book guests while developing and maintaining a strong network of contacts across politics, media, entertainment, and publishing.

The ideal candidate is familiar with programming across all major networks and is deeply plugged into the worlds of pop culture, politics, current news cycles, and social trends. Familiarity with Gutfeld! and its unique voice is essential.

You thrive under deadline pressure, bring fresh ideas to the table, and can seamlessly collaborate with the team. This position also plays a key role in supporting the show's live audience experience and contributing to all aspects of production.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop booking strategies and collaborate with the team to secure guests

  • Research, pitch, and book guests for daily programming and future segments

  • Maintain and expand a robust database of guest contacts and booking resources

  • Leverage an extensive network of contacts across politics, media, entertainment, publishing, and culture

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of future bookings

  • Assist with daily live audience coordination as needed

  • Communicate effectively with the host, producers, and control room staff during live broadcasts

  • Support field shoots and remote productions

  • Work with editors to produce VOs, SOTs, packages, and montages

  • Help shape raw footage into polished, broadcast-ready content

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience

  • Experience booking guests for television, news, entertainment, or live programming

  • Field production experience

  • Excellent writing skills and editorial judgment

  • Strong knowledge of current events, politics, pop culture, and emerging social trends

  • Proven ability to identify unique guests and develop original booking angles

  • Strong organizational and logistical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to work efficiently and make sound decisions under tight deadlines

  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement

  • Experience working with high-profile talent and managing sensitive communications

  • Ability to respond quickly to breaking news with fresh programming ideas

  • Familiarity with non-linear editing systems

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
