JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Corporation is seeking a Vice President, Compliance to help lead and mature the company's global ethics and compliance program. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, this senior leader will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide compliance strategy, leading high-risk and complex investigations, advising senior business and legal stakeholders, and overseeing core program elements including risk assessments, training, policy governance, third-party oversight, monitoring, and compliance integration for strategic transactions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned compliance professional with excellent judgment, executive presence, strong legal and investigative expertise, and a pragmatic, business-minded approach to operating in a dynamic media environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a senior leader within the global ethics and compliance function, helping set strategy, priorities, operating standards, and program enhancements across FOX Corporation
- Lead and oversee complex, sensitive, and high-risk internal investigations involving potential misconduct, including investigation planning, fact development, witness interviews, document review, privilege management, report preparation, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Lead the development and execution of compliance monitoring, testing, reporting, and escalation mechanisms designed to identify trends, strengthen controls, and support continuous program improvement
- Lead or supervise compliance due diligence and risk-based oversight for vendors, suppliers, agents, partners, and other third parties, including onboarding protocols, contract risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring.
- Lead legal and compliance due diligence for M&A targets and other strategic transactions, and develop integration plans to bring acquired entities into FOX compliance programs and control environment
- Advise the Deputy Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer and senior Legal, HR, Finance, Internal Audit, and business leaders on investigation findings, risk mitigation, remedial actions, and disciplinary or process-improvement recommendations
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance program frameworks across business units and functional teams, with a focus on practical execution, accountability, and measurable outcomes
- Own or oversee enterprise and business unit-level compliance risk assessments, including identifying emerging risks, prioritizing mitigation plans, and reporting themes and recommendations to leadership
- Oversee the drafting, maintenance, and governance of compliance policies, codes of conduct, standards of business practices, playbooks, and related guidance materials
- Provide strategic counseling and practical guidance to business teams on compliance risks related to marketing, distribution, content, licensing, partnerships, third parties, gifts and hospitality, conflicts of interest, anti-corruption, and other relevant obligations
- Design and oversee engaging compliance training and communications programs for employees and leaders, partnering with HR, Internal Communications, and other stakeholders to ensure training is timely, accessible, and effective.
- Monitor relevant laws, regulations, enforcement actions, and industry trends, and translate developments into actionable guidance, policy updates, and program enhancements
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, dashboards, and briefings for senior leadership and, as needed, board or committee audiences
- Manage and mentor compliance team members and cross-functional partners, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and membership in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
- 11+ years of relevant legal and compliance experience, including significant experience in-house, in government enforcement (e.g., DOJ, SEC, or other regulatory authority), and/or in a law firm white-collar, investigations, or compliance practice
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading attorneys, compliance professionals, or cross-functional project teams
- Deep experience leading complex internal investigations, corporate compliance programs, risk assessments, policy development, training, third-party risk management, and regulatory counseling
- Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives and business leaders with sound judgment, discretion, credibility, and a practical, solution-oriented approach to legal and compliance risk
- Strong knowledge of global ethics and compliance program expectations, including anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, third-party risk, investigations, whistleblower and hotline processes, and remediation best practices
- Excellent investigative, analytical, legal writing, presentation, and executive communication skills, including the ability to distill complex issues into clear recommendations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities
- High integrity, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally as business needs require
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
- Media, entertainment, sports, technology, or other highly regulated, global industry experience
- Experience supporting compliance integration for acquisitions, joint ventures, or other strategic transactions
- Experience presenting to executive leadership, board committees, or equivalent senior governance forums
- Spanish language proficiency, particularly experience supporting compliance matters in Latin America or bilingual markets

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $247,000.00-325,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
