JOB DESCRIPTION
The Financial Analyst supports the Network and Studio Production Finance team with financial close activities, vendor onboarding, obligation settlement, and cost tracking for development, licensed, and internally produced content.
The Financial Analyst reviews contractual support, reconciles obligations and payments, maintains title-level records, and assists with internal and external audit requests. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working with internal
and external partners in a fast-paced finance environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate, manage, and support current and prospective vendors in Fox systems, including vendor setup, information updates, platform guidance, inquiry resolution, and onboarding issue troubleshooting
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely vendor onboarding and information updates, ensuring required documentation and approvals are completed efficiently
- Review legal documentation, including contracts and other binding agreements, to validate Fox’s legal obligations related to acquired content
- Maintain accurate and complete title-level records for Fox-acquired content, including development projects, licensed programming, and internally produced content
- Manage the content settlement process, including reviewing supplier invoices, validating billing completeness and accuracy, and confirming outstanding balances
- Provide management with accurate reporting for title-level commitments and pending obligations
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, ad hoc reclassifications, programming/content accruals, content amortization, account reconciliations, and related close reporting
- Support internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation, maintaining internal request trackers, coordinating responses through management, and meeting established deadlines
- Support Finance management with ad hoc analyses, reporting requests, process improvements, and other business needs as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, analyze, and reconcile financial data using formulas, pivot tables, and related Excel functionality
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Self-driven and proactive, with a results-oriented approach and a strong drive to learn quickly
- Accurate, responsive, and comfortable working with detailed financial records and contractual support, with sound judgment and the ability to identify and escalate unusual items or potential issues in a timely manner
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
- Experience with Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, and Blackline
- Public accounting experience.
- Entertainment, media, production finance, or content accounting experience
- CPA license or progress toward CPA accreditation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $37.26-38.46 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
