JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Creator Studio (FCS), a division of FOX Entertainment, partners with leading creators to turn bold ideas into premium IP, original formats, and enduring brands, combining creator vision with FOX’s scale and infrastructure. Platform agnostic by design, the studio works with digital native talent to expand their ideas across YouTube, television, streaming, film, and more.
The Senior Vice President, Development will support the development of creator-led projects for FOX Creator Studio, with a focus on identifying and shaping concepts with strong narrative potential, talent alignment, and franchise value. This role will work closely with creators, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to develop ideas from early concept through package-ready materials.
Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace for five (5) days per week is an essential function of the position. The selected candidate must be able to meet this requirement reliably.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support creator-led development from concept through package readiness.
- Work with creators and internal teams to refine ideas into structured, scalable projects or franchises while preserving distinct creative voices
- Identify and source ideas and talent across YouTube, social platforms, and traditional channels, bringing a strong understanding of both traditional development and fluency in digital-native ecosystems
- Help guide creators from early concepts to more fully developed projects ready for packaging, pilot, sizzle, or proof-of-concept execution
- Develop pitch materials, written development notes, and project documents that support internal alignment and external opportunities
- Evaluate concepts for creative originality, audience resonance, platform fit, and long-term commercial and IP/format potential
- Contribute to the studio’s broader development slate by helping identify projects that can scale across platforms and support FOX Creator Studio’s evolving IP strategy
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 15+ years of experience in creative development in television or digital media
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Television, Media Studies, English, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of creator-led storytelling and how digital-native voices can evolve into larger entertainment properties
- Strong executive presence and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch ideas, influence decision-making, and advocate for bold creative solutions
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative vision, provide actionable feedback, and align stakeholders around strategic direction
- First-hand experience with YouTube and social platforms, including developing and delivering pitch presentations
- Proven ability to foster strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative, audience-focused work
- Exceptional creative leadership with a track record of driving ideas from concept through execution while balancing creative excellence, timelines, and financial objectives
- Adept at building collaborative relationships with internal teams, talent, agencies, production partners, and senior leadership to bring high-impact creative initiatives to life
- Skilled at managing multiple concurrent creative projects, ensuring seamless execution, operational efficiency, and consistency across platforms and touchpoints

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $296,000.00-350,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
