The FOX Data Platform Team is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a passion for building robust, scalable, efficient, and high-quality Data Engineering solutions to join our Data Engineering team. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Scale Data Solutions:
Architect and implement robust, scalable data pipelines and workflows to process and manage large-scale datasets.
Collaborate on creating innovative data systems that align with evolving business needs.
Leverage a Modern Tech Stack:
Utilize AWS, Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, Monte Carlo, and Atlan to build and optimize our data ecosystem.
Develop both real-time and batch data solutions to support analytics and operational requirements.
Empower Advanced Analytics:
Apply statistical modeling and machine learning to solve complex, high-impact business problems.
Work closely with data scientists to build and deploy production-grade ML models at scale.
Ensure Data Excellence:
Guarantee the quality, security, and reliability of data pipelines and platforms.
Use tools like Monte Carlo and Atlan to maintain data observability, governance, and trustworthiness.
Innovate and Collaborate:
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data-driven opportunities.
Identify and implement creative, impactful solutions that push boundaries and deliver value.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Strong Fundamentals:
Solid understanding of data architecture, distributed systems, and database design.
Experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and mathematical problem-solving.
Hands-on coding experience with innovative problem solving skills
Proficiency in Our Tech Stack:
Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.).
Solid hands-on experience with Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
Expertise in Advanced SQL programming and SQL Performance Tuning
Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Learning and Adaptability:
Willingness to learn and implement new tools, techniques, and frameworks.
A problem-solver who thrives on tackling complex challenges with creativity and scalability.
Communication and Collaboration:
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights for diverse stakeholders.
Comfortable working collaboratively in a large, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
7+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related fields.
Strong programming expertise in Python and SQL.
Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks.
Prior experience working in large-scale data ecosystems deploying solutions for enterprise environments in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
Knowledge of Monte Carlo and Atlan for data observability and cataloging

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-170,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
