FOX is looking for a Manager, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. As the FOX GSOC Manager, you will report to the Associate Director, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and manage a high-performance, 24/7 team of contracted GSOC operators, analysts, and specialists. You will be an integral part of the FOX Security team, directly responsible for FOX Pico Lot emergency response, off-lot special events and production support, top-tier customer service (via phone and email), crisis communications, incident triage, and tactical / operational intelligence reporting for FOX assets enterprise wide.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Management and operational performance of the 24/7/365 LA-based FOX GSOC. Manage an emergency or crisis for the FOX Pico Lot and all FOX employees, properties, productions, and events globally
Handle all FOX Pico Lot non-emergency and emergency calls, ingress and egress for pedestrians and vehicles, parking violations, medical incidents, power outages, stage opening and closings, and all studio lot service requests
Recruit, train, and lead a group of highly skilled contracted operators and analysts by providing hands-on training, operational guidance, and tailored mentorship
Onboard and maintain professional relationships with new business units and Departments (EHS, Risk Management, Legal, HR, etc.) on and off the FOX Studio lot, and supporting marketing and advertising GSOC capabilities across FOX Corporation
In coordination with the Security Systems team, maintain the FOX GSOC room’s UL certification, such as contract compliance, electronic databases and software, third-party intelligence platforms, alarm monitoring systems, incident and crisis management tools, redundant GSOCs, telecoms E911 services, and other automated systems necessary to provide uninterrupted emergency support services
Manage and motivate teams in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry centered around the use of people, process, and technology to ensure life-safety, security, and resiliency at corporate sites and special events
Draft and oversee the coordinated development and maintenance of complex policies and procedures related to the GSOC and affected stakeholders
Play a critical role in security system Requests for Proposal (RFPs), testing, evaluation, implementation, and training to improve the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of new and existing platforms, while maintaining a pragmatic, budget conscious approach
Coordinate GSOC strategic planning to keep pace with and improve growth of FOX Corporation business units, number of sites, and evolving customer and stakeholder needs
Analyze, track, and publish annual and quarterly GSOC metrics and statistics to drive future improvement of processes, onboarding new technology, and right sizing employees’ tasks and duties
Ensure compliance with FOX Security expectations and policies, monitor physical assets, and make rapid notifications via crisis communication tools to stakeholders
Benchmark with media partners to remain at front edge of industry best practices relating to control center security management and related services
Ensure quality control of incident response and event management products for senior level visibility
Support Special Events through Inclement Weather Monitoring and Reporting, including managing Crisis Communication Operations
Support the Intelligence Team via notification of threats and security-related intelligence with respect to risk/impact of FOX assets
Monitor travel through client’s internal systems – including travelers, sites, and major events during global incidents or crisis events
Work with and collaborate with the FOX Back-Up GSOC in Tempe, Arizona to ensure mutually supporting processes are aligned with department priorities and BC/DR plans
As necessary, travel to corporate locations and marquee events to provide GSOC on-the-ground support for incident management and crisis communications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
5+ years of experience in Corporate Security or a similar role with at least 2+ years leading and managing all aspects of a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
Experience and knowledge of various access control platforms, video management systems, incident management applications/software, mass communications tools, and intelligence subscription services
Demonstrable success managing complex problems, employees and contractors with various backgrounds, and technical projects
Proven manager with ability to interact effectively with executive level management and stakeholders in non-security Departments
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvement
Excellent communicator in writing, speaking, and presenting
Demonstrated ability to manage change and conflict effectively
Adept at managing crises; provide front-line leadership in coordinating responses to a myriad of crisis situations and appropriate escalation and triage
Dependable, responsive team player with strong business acuity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
Impeccable work ethic and a high degree of integrity
General knowledge and understanding of State and Federal Employment laws as well as a deep understanding of SOWs & MSAs with contracted vendors

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $100,000.00-105,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
