Director (Fox Scripted Studios, LLC; Los Angeles, California): Manage a slate of various projects across multiple Networks. Source and develop materials to sell original concepts to prospective buyers and oversee those projects creatively from development to delivery. Hire and work closely with writers to develop stories from a concept to a full production draft, providing notes to ensure the script is meeting creative standards and is shootable within budget. Work closely with Network executives to ensure the project is in line with their vision creatively. Act as their point of contact throughout development, production and post. Go through casting tapes, initiate callbacks and cast talent for projects. Interview and hire directors and all heads of department, working closely with them to execute all creative decisions while overseeing the set during physical production. Drive forward postproduction, provide notes on editorial, music composition and visual effects to complete the project. Ensure projects are executed to the highest creative standard while delivered on time and on budget. Work closely with our company talent relationships and act as the point person on specific overall deals. Conduct general meetings with new emerging writing and directing talent and log results of these meetings. Act as a point of contact for agents and managers and develop strong relationships with talent representatives. Act as the proxy for the VP/SVP, as necessary, across internal meetings and with various lines of business. Act as the point of contact for Network Executives, directors, writers, showrunners, producers, and other production partners on the creative on all assigned projects.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Film Direction, Creative Writing, Cinematic Arts or related field.
Experience Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.
Must have experience with the following: Movie Magic Budgeting; Movie Magic Scheduling; Final Draft; Final Cut Pro; Evercast; Frame.io; and PIX.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,345.00-141,179.50 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
