FOX Weather is looking for a highly organized, detail-driven, and solutions-oriented Scheduling & Operations Coordinator to support the operational engine of a fast-paced, national weather news organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless scheduling, real-time programming execution, and operational continuity in a 24/7 breaking news environment. Partner with FOX Weather leadership to proactively draft and distribute clear, timely communications for schedule changes, breaking weather events, and special programming
Prepare and deliver both recurring and ad hoc reports to FOX Weather leadership
Support the Manager, Talent Relations & Programming Operations in maintaining and distributing FOX Weather programming schedules, including during breaking weather news, nights, and weekends
Manage all aspects of the FOX Weather team scheduling, including holidays and special coverage, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy
Provide operational support for cross-platform initiatives, conducting research
Prioritize competing operational needs in a 24/7 newsroom environment, responding with urgency and professionalism
Maintain confidential scheduling and personnel information
Serve as a liaison across various departments for programming and staff schedule needs
Support office administration responsibilities, including ordering supplies and coordinating meetings
Create PowerPoint presentations and maintain accurate Excel tracking documents
Assist the Manager, Talent Relations & Programming Operations in coordinating travel and logistics
Lead onboarding efforts for new Production Assistant hires
Facilitate catering for on-site staff and lodging assistance as needed
Assist programming operations with weekly VPS input and provide support during breaking weather news coverage
Track and process internal expense approvals
Provide additional operational support as needed
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
2+ years experience in a fast-paced media environment
Extremely organized and detail-oriented, and capable of tracking multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, including writing and verbal
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and interact with high-level executives
Ability to effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in person
Flexibility to adjust workdays to accommodate special events and other business functions
Positive ''Can Do'' attitude
Exemplary time management skills
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
Advanced skills in Dalet and Adobe Premiere Pro
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini
A strong interest in weather is a plus

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $19.00-27.65 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
