ABOUT THE ROLE
FOX Corporation is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our web engineering team responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and reliable web applications. You will be responsible for building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing team while driving technical excellence and delivery of world-class web experiences.

We leverage the latest technologies and frameworks to ensure our web applications are not only functional but also intuitive and engaging. With a strong emphasis on code quality, scalability, and user-centric design, the team is committed to delivering products that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
As an Engineering Manager - Web, you will lead and grow a high-performing team of web engineers, driving technical excellence and delivery of world-class web experiences. You will own team strategy, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-centric web solutions while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of web engineers through coaching, feedback, and career development
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the team
Partner with senior engineers to drive improvements in architecture, performance, security, and accessibility best practices
Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation
Balance feature delivery with long-term technical health and debt reduction
Review and guide technical designs and implementation approaches of web platform features
Own delivery of web initiatives from planning through production releases.
Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of roadmap commitments
Partnering closely with cross functional teams like Product, Design, and backend to define scope, priorities, and timelines
Communicate status, tradeoffs, risks and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
Align web initiatives with broader platform and organizational goals
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in engineering management in delivering high-quality web applications at scale
Strong background in web technologies like.,TypeScript, vue.js, Nuxt.js, APIs
Proven ability to manage priorities, execution, and stakeholder expectations
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, leading, mentoring, and developing a team of engineers.
Experience with agile methodologies, SDLC, and building scalable systems.
A natural coach with a passion for helping others grow, providing actionable feedback and guidance that encourages continuous improvement.
Strong web technical leadership who can manage technical aspects of projects and providing clear direction to team on technical challenges
Skilled in performance management, feedback delivery, and creating growth opportunities for engineers.
Experience with large-scale or high-traffic web platforms
Experience with accessibility, performance optimization, and security best practices
Knowledge of web applications performance optimization and monitoring tools
