We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and creative Line Producer to join our Fox News Sunday team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to craft the most influential and watched stories in all of broadcast and cable news. We are seeking a natural leader, a proven go-getter and someone who can rise to the occasion under the stressful demands of a weekly newsmaker show. As Line Producer, you have excellent editorial judgment, years of control room experience handling news and breaking news programming, experience producing field interviews and broadcasts, and working with editors to polish those interviews for air. A key focus on politics and political news is a must.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Line Produce show from control room and fill in for Executive Producer’s control room role when needed
Produce and edit field interviews and packages.
Write and produce the show open and promo
Identify and recognize stories with high potential for compelling television
React to breaking news, ensuring that the right content is getting on the air in the right order
Ability to support the team in all aspects of the show, from conception to execution and post-show promotion of highlights/clips.
Help produce live coverage for the Fox Network, including election nights, state of the unions, state funerals, and inaugurations.
Work well with show team members, including our senior editorial producer, producer, associate producer, booker, and college associates.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
At least 5 years of newsroom experience and producing/line producing a television newscast
Excellent organizational and managerial skills as well as the ability to create an environment that fosters team work
Decisive and skilled management in a control room is required
Must be prepared to travel
You must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure as well as meet multiple deadlines
Knowledge and passion for current events, politics, and cultural stories shaping the national conversation is essential
Exceptional editorial skills: Ability to recognize stories with high potential for compelling television
Proven track record of leadership and newscast ratings growth
Must work weekends

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-110,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
