ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a Manager of Social Media Monetization & Program Strategy to drive revenue across our podcast verticals—including True Crime, News, and Sports—by creating and packaging social-first offerings that are both compelling to advertisers and aligned with show content. You’ll work closely with content leads, show hosts, Ad Sales, and Marketing to define sellable programs, socialize them internally, and help bring them to market through data-backed sales materials and direct collaboration with AEs.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and operationalize sellable social media programs across podcast verticals
Build a portfolio of monetizable social offerings for shows in True Crime, News, and Sports
Present program options to hosts and producers, securing opt-in and alignment
Partner with Ad Sales Marketing Manager to develop tailored advertiser packages
Support AEs with sales materials and join calls to present social programs
Leverage data and audience insights to optimize offerings and drive interest
Collaborate cross-functionally with content, marketing, and sales teams to ensure execution readiness
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
7+ Experience developing or monetizing social media campaigns or branded content
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and monetization strategies
Ability to present and package creative concepts for internal and client-facing audiences
Proven collaboration with sales and marketing teams to support advertiser goals
Familiarity with social performance metrics and ability to translate data into insights
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
Background in podcasting, digital media, or audio content
Previous experience building sales collateral or presenting to advertising clients
Understanding of ad tech or branded content performance tools

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $114,000.00-160,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
