ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer focused on Media and Broadcast to design and implement highly resilient and scalable network supporting media workflows and live broadcast events such as World Cup and the Super Bowl.
The Network Engineering team will work closely with multiple teams and disciplines across the enterprise to conceptualize, build and integrate solutions and services to support the challenging real-time requirements of the Media and Broadcast business. ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record leading and implementing large scale network deployments and troubleshooting complex network problems while delivering innovative solutions. Media and/or broadcast experience are a huge plus. We are looking for strong written and in-person communication and a self-starter that can identify and solve problems early on and help mentor less experienced team members.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and maintain secure network environments capable of transporting live and file-based content over private and public networks
Work with other teams to design and build out scalable, fault-tolerant solutions to address business-related problems
Work with teams across the organization to troubleshoot service-impacting issues
Travel to remote offices and sporting events to stand up and maintain critical network connectivity infrastructure
Mentor junior members of the team
Serve as point of escalation for network issues
Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
BS in a related field or equivalent experience
5+ years working with large scale enterprise networks
Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with network platforms such as Arista, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper
Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills
Significant experience with, and expertise in many of the following protocols & technologies: QoS, Multicast, STP, BGP, OSPF, TACACS, IPSEC & VPNs, Netflow, DNS
Significant experience with packet capture tools (tcpdump, Wireshark) and the analysis of PCAP data
Experience with automation (Ansible or similar), scripting (Python or similar), and the principles of NetDevOps
Experience with network instrumentation and monitoring

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $114,000.00-152,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
