The Ingraham Angle is seeking a dynamic, driven, and highly creative Senior Producer to join our New York-based team. The Senior Producer is a decisive leader, a proven self-starter, and someone who can rise to the occasion under the stressful demands of prime-time cable news. The Senior Producer has strong editorial judgment, solid breaking news experience, and the ability to put together a rundown.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:
Participate in daily and future editorial decisions for content for the show – day of and future
Set editorial and production standards while providing strong leadership across the show’s producers
Manage daily operations, including direct oversight of the Line Producer, Segment Producers, and Production Assistant
Maintain close oversight of the Line Producer role, with the ability to step in and line produce when necessary
Manage breaking news
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
8+ years of newsroom experience
Experience producing / line producing a television newscast
Strong organizational, leadership, and managerial skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and accountability
Decisive and skilled management of a control room is required
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure while meeting multiple daily deadlines
Knowledge and passion for current events, politics, and cultural issues
Exceptional editorial skills
Proven track record of leadership and measurable ratings growth
Experience working closely with on-air talent
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $114,000.00-150,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
