We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team and assist with the HR initiatives supporting our employees.
The Human Resources Generalist will assist with overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes at Fox13-WTVT. This role is critical in ensuring that our station attracts, develops, and retains top talent while ensuring a positive workplace culture. Reporting to the Vice President of HR to align HR Policies.
Responsibilities include:
Three years of proven HR experience at the generalist level. This position requires a skill set that includes effective written/verbal communication, creative problem solving and conflict management. Experience computer skills (HRIS, Workday, and Microsoft Office a plus). SHRM qualification a plus. This is a high volume and hands-on administrative position.
Ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to develop solid collaborative relationships with all levels of staff. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills. Must work efficiently under specific time constraints. Strong organizational skills required. Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is highly desirable. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $70,000.00-80,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
