Fox Studio Lot is looking for a Printer/Scanner Operator to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide professional-level support and customer service to all clients, colleagues, and vendors
Accurately produce jobs and projects according to department standards while meeting required deadlines
Operate all copier and printing equipment, including high-volume copy machines, envelope printer, document scanners and personal computer
Utilize equipment such as folding machines, hydraulic paper cutter, manual paper cutter, scoring, perforating and numbering machine, hole drillers, bindery equipment, laminators, manual stitcher, electric staplers, and other pertinent equipment and devices as needed or assigned
Maintain logs and work order requests as needed
Deliver completed reproduction work to clients on the Fox Studio Lot as needed or assigned
Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to ordering supplies, placing service calls for equipment, and filing
Perform OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tasks to assist with keyword searches
Perform other duties as needed, including coverage for other Fox Studio Lot Resources departments or job functions
Perform FTP (File Transfer Protocol) between computers and files for printing as needed
Execute duties related to stocking, organizing, shipping, and receiving shop materials
Format files for printing in programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative, as needed or assigned
Minor maintenance of reproduction equipment by solving paper jams and conducting routine equipment maintenance
Prepare daily and monthly reports as needed
Assist with assembling general mailings or projects, including but not limited to: photocopying, collating, inserting tabs, binding, padding, document scanning, folding, perforating, scoring, stuffing, stapling and addressing
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
2+ years of experience working in a print center
Able to distinguish between the different types of paper weights and finishes
Able to follow standardized operating procedures
Able to stand, walk, and sit as required to perform all job functions
Able to work overtime with short notice
Able to manage a high volume of work by balancing priorities effectively amongst a variety of diverse tasks
Ability to repetitively reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps; walking up and down stairs, service ramps and using elevators
Ability to repetitively lift, carry, pull, push, and transport up to 50 lbs.
Ability to train across multiple job functions
Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements and multitask
Proficiency in the use of a variety of reproduction-related equipment and software, including but not limited to fax, document scanner, punchers, staplers, inserters, folders, hydraulic paper cutter, binding machines, stitcher, collators, laminators, scoring and perforating machine, and counters
Maintain confidentiality of company and client information, data, and materials
Dependable/reliable with excellent attendance record
Valid California driver's license (without restrictions)
Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, demanding startup environment
Team player with the ability to work well with others in a group environment
Adhere to all departmental and company safety and security policies and procedures, and report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Polite and friendly with the ability to work with all co-workers, staff, and clients, performing all duties in a professional, positive manner with a can-do attitude

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $22.17-30.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
