Fox News Digital is looking for a Manager of Delivery to lead a high-impact portfolio of work spanning several cross-functional teams. This individual will oversee a team of project managers ensuring that delivery is consistently aligned to business priorities, organizational goals, and technical standards.
This is a leadership role that blends operational rigor, delivery strategy, and people management. You’ll help teams plan, execute, and adapt as they explore new product concepts, experiment with emerging technologies, and modernize critical platforms. You’ll be responsible for driving clarity, accountability, and cohesion across a diverse and evolving portfolio—ensuring high-quality outcomes without losing speed or innovation.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, mentor, and support a team of project managers who own delivery across several cross-functional teams
Oversee the portfolio’s day-to-day execution and long-term planning, ensuring that each initiative is scoped, prioritized, and progressing effectively
Drive alignment across teams by connecting the dots between research, experimentation, innovation, and platform modernization
Monitor delivery across multiple workstreams, resolving cross-team dependencies, surfacing risks, and unblocking execution
Partner with senior product and engineering leaders to sequence initiatives and manage shifting priorities
Ensure project plans are realistic, delivery targets are met, and outputs align to defined outcomes
Provide portfolio-level reporting, insights, and updates to leadership, highlighting milestones, blockers, and strategic impact
Evaluate opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies such as AI into project planning or product development in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads
Champion best practices in agile delivery, communication, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement
Foster a delivery culture that values experimentation, iteration, and operational excellence
Support the professional development of your team through coaching, feedback, and career growth opportunities
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
7+ years of experience in project, program, or delivery management roles within digital product or technology teams
2+ years of experience managing direct reports or leading delivery functions across multiple teams
Proven ability to oversee cross-functional, multi-surface initiatives (e.g., Web, iOS, Android, API) across a portfolio of work
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and hybrid approaches, with the ability to adapt based on context
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple streams of work and competing priorities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical, product, and executive audiences
Ability to translate strategic goals into operational plans and delivery frameworks
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and accountability
Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar to manage delivery and track progress
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
Lead with clarity, consistency, and empathy—creating alignment even in moments of ambiguity
Enjoy empowering teams to do their best work while holding a high bar for delivery
Think in systems and know how to connect short-term execution to long-term strategy
Balance structure with flexibility—knowing when to apply process and when to adapt
Communicate proactively and with context, tailoring your message to the audience
Are energized by variety—working across experimentation, emerging tech, and foundational platform work
Can zoom in to unblock a sprint and zoom out to reset portfolio priorities based on business needs
Seek out opportunities to improve how teams plan, collaborate, and ship
