This strategic HR leader will act as a trusted partner to newsroom and operations leaders, ensuring that the people strategy aligns with the evolving needs of 24/7 live coverage. You’ll focus on developing high-performing teams, cultivating an inclusive and resilient culture, and driving HR programs that sustain engagement in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting.

This is an individual contributor role that partners closely with the FOX Television Stations HR team and LiveNOW leadership.

  • Lead all talent management cycles, including performance, succession, and compensation calibration in partnership with HR COEs
  • Support recruiting efforts to attract and retain top talent in news, and digital media, collaborating with Talent Acquisition and Compensation
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, investigations, and compliance matters in partnership with Legal and HR leadership
  • Champion employee engagement and inclusion initiatives, tailoring programs for a 24/7 workforce with unique scheduling and work-life challenges
  • Advise on change management efforts, particularly as LiveNOW evolves its platform, technology, and team structure
  • Collaborate with FOX HR teams to align policies, systems, and communications across the broader Television Stations group

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive culture and engagement initiatives
  • Strong judgment and discretion in handling employee relations and organizational dynamics
  • Managing the Stations’ employee relations and employment programs and initiatives.
Full life cycle recruitment including applicant tracking, interviewing a variety of broadcast journalism and digital candidates, reference checking and processing background checks; on-boarding new employees; and performance management and performance evaluation administration.
  • Administration of FMLA and other leaves of absences, worker’s compensation, and policy administration.
  • Responsible for employee programs including HR training and employee engagement events.
  • Director will work in concert with Station management and Corporate Human Resources to ensure that all employment regulatory requirements are met and all company policies are adhered to.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in execution
  • Data-driven approach to problem solving and decision-making
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT REQUIRED
