We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in designing, building, and deploying advanced solutions on the Salesforce platform, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI and machine learning capabilities. You will be responsible for both traditional Salesforce development and for pioneering new integrations with AI services to create intelligent, automated, and predictive applications. Your expertise will be crucial in mentoring junior developers and driving the adoption of best practices for a scalable and secure platform.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other modern technologies.
Architect, design, and implement AI-driven solutions on the Salesforce platform, including but not limited to Salesforce Einstein (e.g., Einstein Bots, Prediction Builder, Next Best Action) and custom AI/ML integrations.
Integrate Salesforce with external AI services and APIs to incorporate functionalities such as natural language processing (NLP), generative AI, and predictive analytics.
Lead the full software development lifecycle on Salesforce, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
Write high-quality, scalable, and well-documented code that adheres to Salesforce best practices and security standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, conducting code reviews and guiding them on complex development and architectural challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Administrators, and Stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce applications and their integrations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases and AI/ML trends, proactively recommending new features and technologies to improve business processes.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
Proven experience with Salesforce AI/ML functionalities, specifically with Salesforce Einstein.
Expert-level proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
Demonstrated experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and platform best practices.
Experience with modern web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices for Salesforce (e.g., using GitHub, Jenkins, or similar tools).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (or equivalent experience).
Experience with AI development tools (Cursor IDE, Github Copilot etc.)
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
Experience with Salesforce's Data Cloud and its integration with AI.
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and AI/ML model development.
Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI services.
Experience with large-scale data migrations and complex data models.
Salesforce certifications related to AI, such as the AI Associate.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-165,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
