The Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Operations is a newly established senior leadership role, reporting directly into the CMO of Fox Ad Sales. This pivotal position is responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision for advertising sales growth, optimizing operational efficiency across the portfolio, and crafting compelling narratives that showcase Fox’s unmatched assets and capabilities. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in media and advertising.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the CMO to define and prioritize key business objectives. Lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and accountability on action items.
Research Partnership: Work closely with the research team to deeply understand insights and leverage data to shape innovative marketing strategies, compelling storytelling, and targeted client campaigns.
Operational Excellence: Optimize operational efficiency by refining sales and marketing processes, enhancing tools, and streamlining reporting systems to support scalable growth. Effectively manage overall marketing budget to ensure optimal ROI on marketing initiatives, overseeing costs, forecasting, and resource prioritization to maximize impact.
Strategic Projects: Lead or support high-impact strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration across sales, marketing, content, and product teams to drive business objectives.
Portfolio Advocacy & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio and available assets to maximize value for advertisers. Act as a liaison across departments to ensure all teams are informed of opportunities and assets, fostering a unified approach to client engagement.
Portfolio Strategy: Collaborate with team to drive the development of a compelling portfolio narrative that differentiates the company in the marketplace, simplifying complexities related to content, products, platforms, partnerships, and data. Responsible for deep dive analysis of data, audience insights, business performance to build GTM positioning.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
15+ years of experience in media, advertising, marketing strategy, or related leadership roles, with a strong track record of driving growth and innovation.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Deep understanding of media landscape, digital advertising, and ad tech.
Strong operational and process improvement skills, with experience implementing scalable systems and tools.
Strong writing and storytelling skills to articulate clear, persuasive narratives for diverse audiences, including clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Experience in translating complex content, product, assets and data into cohesive, impactful messaging that drives engagement and revenue growth.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with agility and strategic focus.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $206,000.00-260,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
