JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox Nation is looking for a Freelance Content Engagement & Strategy Coordinator to support the daily execution of front-end content curation, audience engagement initiatives, and platform optimization strategies. In this role, you’ll assist with maintaining the user experience across our digital platforms, ensuring that content is timely, relevant, and aligned with business goals. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including production, marketing, and product to help drive audience engagement and improve overall customer satisfaction.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with day-to-day content curation across Web, Mobile, and CTV platforms using FOX’s internal CMS

  • Support the execution of user interface strategies that align with audience engagement goals

  • Monitor and report on platform performance metrics (e.g., click-through rates, time on page, video engagement)

  • Help troubleshoot and escalate platform issues to engineering and product teams as needed

  • Conduct quality assurance on content graphics and placements, ensuring alignment with UI safety standards

  • Use Jira to create tickets for artwork while working closely with the design team to maintain deadlines 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support platform-wide content campaigns and editorial calendars

  • Stay current on content trends, pop culture, and audience behavior to inform day-to-day decisions

  • Maintain documentation of processes, test cases, and curation strategies for internal use

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism or equivalent experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in a digital media, content operations, or editorial environment preferred

  • Familiarity with digital content management systems (CMS) and/or OTT platforms

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively

  • Analytical mindset and interest in using data to improve content placement and performance

  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital engagement strategies

  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when reviewing copy, visuals, or user experiences

  • A passion for current events, pop culture, and news-driven storytelling

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work well in a collaborative environment

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $17.79-22.00 per hour.
