JOB DESCRIPTION

Support FOX Entertainment Global’s domestic and international sales division.  FOX Entertainment Global is responsible for overseeing the global, multi-platform sales and distribution of intellectual property, owned and produced by FOX Entertainment and its growing portfolio of business units including FOX Alternative Entertainment, MarVista Entertainment, FOX Entertainment Studios, TMZ, Tubi, Bentobox and Studio Ramsay Global as well as, premium content acquired from outside producers. 


FOX Entertainment is seeking a Manager, Rights Management. As a Manager, Rights Management, you will handle the rights “in” and rights “out” in connection with the distribution and licensing for domestic and international distribution as well as overall deal management and data entry.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generally, collaborate with the Senior Manager, Rights Management, to maintain and update the rights management database.
  • Analyze and summarize rights from content providers, ensuring accurate data entry into the rights management database.
  • Review and handle data entry of all deal terms for various agreements, including but not limited to license agreements, format agreements, and acquisition agreements.
  • Maintain Key Date/Option tracker
  • Answer internal question regarding specific rights
  • Handle other rights and deal management responsibilities that come up from time to time

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 2-3 years of rights management experience 
  • Prior experience reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing various agreements including but not limited to license, distribution, commissions, production, rights acquisitions, digital rights, etc. 
  • Working knowledge and understanding of various rights such as AVOD, SVOD, Pay TV, EST, PPV, Free TV, basic cable, Fast Channels, etc. 
  • Preferred knowledge and use of Rightsline and Salesforce
  • Ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels, internally & externally
  • Ability to work as a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong drafting skills, and ability to spot issues quickly
  • Self-motivated and able to handle more than one project at a time and accurately assess the priority of assignments

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-80,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
