Fox News Live D.C. is hiring a Producer with extensive experience producing news for television. As a Producer Fox News Live D.C., you have excellent editorial judgment and knowledge of national politics. You are able to write with urgency, style, brevity, and deliver substantial news in a highly produced environment. You will work with anchors and reporters to advance stories and quickly turn around breaking news.
You will be offered the following shift: Wednesday - Sunday.
A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Use your knowledge of current events, national politics, and strong editorial judgment to pitch newsmaker and informative guest interviews
Lead booking team for the show
Actively seeking out the freshest elements for story selection, including finding compelling sound, new video, and utilize strong graphics to help illustrate the story
Use your control room experience to help execute a seamless show on air, including formatting program rundowns, and communicating effectively with technical staff
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
5 years of political reporting in a broadcast, print, or digital work environment
Exceptional editorial judgment
Strong communication and writing skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multitask, and prioritize on a daily basis, especially in breaking news situations
Flexibility to work various shifts when needed, including regular weekend work
Willingness to travel when necessary

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $74,000.00-104,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
