FOX Nation is seeking a dynamic, experienced Producer to join the live team. As the Producer, you are a self-starter with excellent editorial skills who can create compelling content for the FOX audience! The ideal candidate is a seasoned writer who is detail-oriented & excellent under pressure. As a Producer, you will conduct in-depth research, write live scripts, and pitch compelling segments.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Pitch guests, stories, and segment ideas
Write guest intros, anchor questions, and teases
Select elements such as sound, video clips, and graphics to tell a story
Build accurate and constantly evolving research packets
Oversee all aspects of productions including story research, scriptwriting, field shoots, obtaining archival video, and managing rights and clearances
Coordinate with other departments throughout Fox such as legal, finance, graphics, marketing, field production, and media relations
Book guests and conduct both on and off-camera interviews
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
5+ years of professional experience at a news organization, production company, or documentary company
Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
Strong and accurate writing
Thorough knowledge of current events and politics
Ability to travel when required
Excellent communication skills
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, working both independently and as a part of a team
Ability to think creatively and develop new and interesting approaches to storytelling Willing to work nights, and weekends when needed

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $74,000.00-104,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
