WAGA Fox 5 Atlanta is currently seeking a seasoned Account Executive with exceptional sales acumen and proven experience in broadcast television and digital platforms, including Connected TV (CTV) assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing shares on well-established television and digital accounts, focusing on increasing revenue across all media facets. As a direct link to our clients, this role involves servicing established agency accounts, harnessing direct client contact, and maintaining strong agency relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Service existing agency accounts as directed by sales management, ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
Establish direct client contact while maintaining positive relationships with agencies.
Develop comprehensive and persuasive multi-screen platform sales and research presentations.
Achieve revenue goals across existing accounts, new business, zero-share business, and digital sales.
Utilize proficient negotiation skills based on NSI LPM ratings and qualitative research.
Showcase a robust understanding of digital platforms with a track record of successful digital sales.
Collaborate with the Credit Manager to ensure proper credit references are provided and that payments for business sold are received timely.
Generate frequent written correspondence including pre/post-buy letters.
Provide the Local Sales Manager with regular reports, including weekly pending, monthly posting, and quarterly forecasting.
Comply with all Fox Corporation computer and station policies, including but not limited to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and insider trading.
Maintain professionalism in representing WAGA Fox 5 at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Work effectively under the pressure of daily deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
Exhibit self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrate strong creative, organizational, planning, and prospecting skills.
Communicate effectively and courteously with co-workers and clients.
Have an in-depth knowledge of television ratings and research, especially concerning Nielsen and comScore/Rentrak data.
Outstanding presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field is preferred.
A minimum of three years of experience in broadcast television and digital platform sales, with experience in selling OTT platforms highly preferred.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $82,500.00-87,500.00 annually. This role is also eligible for a sales incentive/commission compensation plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
