JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of the Delivery & Outcomes organization, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple work streams within a brand or platform portfolio. Working with the product team, you will be actively involved in receiving product briefs and responding with meticulous project initiation documentation, project plans, scope definition and risk assessments which will then drive the delivery teams towards meeting the project goals and business objectives of our brands. The focus for this role is with the content management platform systems.

Our CMS platform powers the digital products delivering billions of page impressions each month across web, mobile apps, connected tv apps and more. We're on a mission to make it both the simplest and most powerful platform in the industry. You will have the opportunity to work with our Director, Project Management and be responsible for our flagship CMS product used by hundreds of reporters, producers and editors across the FOX brands - FOX Sports, FOX News, FOX Business and 18 FOX Television Stations.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and execute project plans for roadmap features spanning multiple teams

• Manage intake and delivery for 1-2 scrum teams as a Scrum Master & Agile Coach

• Drive adoption and be a practitioner of Agile framework best practices and company standards

• Manage vendors and cross-functional project teams and ensure on-time delivery 

• Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner 

• Mitigate project conflicts; seek final resolution on all issues to ensure projects keep to scope and timeline 

• Effectively and proactively communicate status to all stakeholders and senior management on project status, outlining key issues, risks and plans for mitigation

• Collaborate with product management, design, and technical development teams 

• Plan for upcoming work and collaborate on resource needs 

• Support QA efforts on project deliverables as required, including scheduling regression testing and facilitating setting test scenarios 

• Support portfolio program manager in financial reporting and other PMO reporting processes as needed

• Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practices where appropriate

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• At least 5 years of experience in a digital / technology project management role leading complex initiatives in with Scrum / Agile teams, plus 1-2 years of experience as a Scrum Master

• Experience in a web, mobile and/or connected device development environment 

• Proficiency in MS Office tools, Microsoft Project Online and Atlassian 

• Proven project management experience with planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management

• Proven management of multiple project stakeholders (e.g., internal core team, external vendors, contractors, business users, senior management) 

• Effective communication and presentation skills appropriate for interaction with network clients, vendors, and senior management 

• Excellent project leadership and team building skills 

• Constructive conflict resolution and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively

• Ability to manage cross functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, Ads, Analytics 

• Ability to understand technical and design documents 

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• A Bachelor's degree in related field

• SAFe, CSM, PMP, MBA, ACP certified 

• Applicable knowledge of the technologies used in content and video management systems

• Experience with content management systems
