Fox Network Group (FNG) is currently seeking a Sales Assistant for its Chicago office. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for all maintenance of the accounts, including inventory tracking, schedule changes, inventory management and stewardship tracking in support of their respective Account Manager and Sales teams from booked deal to payment.
Supports assigned Sales team and Linear Account Manager by tracking change notices and programming changes for their clients’ business.
Handles inventory with regard to oversell and moves units due to pre-empts and avails.Works on product conflicts. Manages clients’ commercial copy to insure proper instructions have been received.
Manages ADU approvals and processing, helps in the stewardship of the brands.
Works with clients to ensure invoices are cleared for payment.
Handles agency requests regarding brand allocations, splitting of units, flighting, and pod positioning, in addition to other requests.
Establish relationships with Agency Contacts.
Support Sales, when required, on sales calls with current and prospective FNG clients.
Build internal relationships amongst the various Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Research, and Advanced Data teams.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Previous office experience required, ideally in an ad sales environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
A professional phone demeanor is necessary, as well as the ability to multi-task and work in a high-pressure environment.
