The Creative Director ensures integration of approved visual identity across all merchandise and retail categories and works to support the corporate strategy as prescribed by projects. The Creative Director is responsible for the creative oversight of Location Based Entertainment merchandise development, including initial concept generation, packaging and prototype evaluation. The Creative Director also ensures integration of approved visual identity across a full demographic spectrum and works to support the corporate strategy as prescribed by the brand.
Conceives, develops and defines all creative aspects of product development in conjunction with the product development team.

Mac and PC Proficient: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, and FTP site and server savvy (Fox Media Exchange).
Proven ability to work with multiple clients and brands to interpret their direction and strategy into a visual plan in order to achieve targeted revenue goals and a comprehensive portfolio of same.
A demonstrable facility with traditional drawing skills, with an emphasis on character art and design. Must be able to create draw overs/ sketch overlays.
Ability to develop art and open/ edit computer models.
Proven expertise in creating computer renderings and graphics.
Expert understanding of the principles of art.
Expert knowledge of layouts, graphic and typography, with the ability to translate ideas to 3rd parties.
Knowledge of basic merchandise manufacturing processes for the hardlines, softlines and consumables categories. Expertise in print, apparel, 3D and plush preferred.
Ability to develop product for a variety of IPs, targeted to a full market demographic: including boys, girls, kids, tweens, teens, adults and collectors.
Experience leading a world-class team on product development is required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on effectively communicating information to and between creative types and business people.
Ability to immediately and easily shift focus as the day’s priorities/deadlines may dictate.
Excellent interpersonal skills, even when under pressure.
Experience with licensed products.
Excellent organization and follow-through skills to manage a high volume of new submissions, while managing submissions already in the pipeline.
