Handle monthly divisional accounting and financial reporting for the Worldwide Digital group, which includes Video on Demand and Electronic Sell Through markets.
Interact with sales and legal on contractual terms for the customers, and provide ad hoc analysis on customer performance as requested.
Responsible for understanding customer financial deal terms and customers compliance with reporting accurate license fees.
Reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts monthly, prepare quarterly footnote package and journal entries.
Monthly analysis of actual revenues vs. budget and/or forecasted amounts for senior management.
Prepare timely and accurate data for external and internal audits and participate in Sarbanes-Oxley testing.
B.A. Degree in Accounting or Economics preferred.
2 to 4 years of Financial Analysis experience with GAAP knowledge.
Prior entertainment experience is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel with advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
Familiarity with JDE EnterpriseOne general ledger, and PeopleSoft preferred but not required.
Well-developed communication skills.
Proactive approach to enhancing present systems and streamlining processes.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
