Job Description

Fox Audio Services   -   Project Manager
Administrative role that manages mixing and mastering of feature film and TV episodic audio for downstream distribution (Physical & Digital Home Entertainment, Electronic Sell-Through, TV Distribution) and Studio Archives.


Responsibilities:

  • Processing and managing Post Production audio work from initial client request through delivery
  • Preparing schedules and cost requests for client projects
  • Organizing and tracking of audio/video source assets and final deliverables
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met and remain within budget
  • Providing top quality service to clients during every stage of their work
  • Coordinating and maintaining a presence in client supervised sessions
  • Fostering and maintaining proactive project management relationships with clients
  • Establishing trusting relationships and clear lines of communication with clients and co-workers
  • Providing clear, concise Xytech work orders with accurate, detailed information
  • Ensuring that information is provided to the technical staff accurately and timely to process work orders
  • Billing and closing out work orders and jobs using Xytech
  • Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • College degree preferred
  • 3-4 years of experience in Post Production is required
  • Knowledge of various video & audio tape/file formats and standards is required
  • Computer skills required: Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Xytech scheduling program is preferred
  • Knowledge of ProTools is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Must be able to organize and manage work effectively
  • Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary
