Position Overview

 

Rights & Windowing Management is an Enterprise team responsible for establishing and maintaining the business rights for all Fox and Fox distributed intellectual properties (IP) across various media landscapes. In addition, they are responsible for tracking business rules related to all media types to insure visibility to these agreements and to prevent unintended overlap or contractual violations.

 

The initial focus of this newly created role will be to manage all rights information for a single division for which Fox recently attained distribution rights, and to gain a clear understanding of all cross divisional information relevant to the content. This person must be a quick learner, and must have a clear understanding of licensing and distribution and how it relates to rights and windowing. Forming relationships with relevant stakeholders and attending all pertinent meetings related to the content will be a key function of this role. This position will also be involved in the documentation of current and future business processes of their focus area.

 

Responsibilities will also include the analysis of new or amended contracts and related system set up. This includes the summarization and publishing of information to the various business teams, resolution of undefined terms or conditions related to the secured or unsecured rights associated with deals, clarifying business needs and/or addressing discrepancies or inconsistencies across multiple contracts or media.

 

As part of a growing team with a dynamic working environment, it will be expected that the highest levels of collaboration and knowledge sharing is established and maintained both internally and across business groups. 

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • BA or above required
  • Minimum three years of experience managing contractual information in a corporate environment
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict timelines & data integrity expectations  
  • Knowledge of entertainment licensing
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications
